The Macael quarries occupy more than 6,600 hectares. There are 124 quarries in which the beauty of their white marble benches stands out; as well as the large heavy machinery used, such as dumpers and loaders.
They have two viewpoints with parking lots, an experiential interpretation area, and a signposted path that joins them along the old path where the marble blocks were lowered in carts drawn by oxen, whose tracks are preserved in the rocky pavement.
