The Life + Teruel project is a pioneering and innovative initiative promoted by the City of Teruel. It will pay attention to the recovery of the old clay quarries that constitute a rare and cultural landscape, recovering not only a space of leisure, integrating it in an urban environment, but also contribute to promote the sustainable mobility and therefore to mitigate the change Through the creation and connection of axes with the city center, intensifying the use of sustainable transport.
The population of Teruel will become the first knower and appraiser of the environment and the project, contribute with their ideas and contributions to it, and end up recognizing it, enjoying it and feeling proud of the space and its recovery process.
The project is an initiative of the City Council which has the support of the LIFE + Program of the European Commission, the European Union's financial instrument for the environment.
