They are artisans with a long family tradition.
They have several machines: warp, three hand looms, two mechanical looms, spokes, winders, aspi, etc.
The warp is from the eighteenth or early nineteenth century, its job is to order the threads of the warp to make the fabric.
They have three manual looms in operation, in each of which different articles are made.
It preserves some pieces and machinery previous to century XVIII of those that were used for the elaboration of fabrics: weights, disks, winders, aspi. The spokes, winders and aspi are of century XVII.
They produce high quality fabrics (tablecloths, cloths, towels and blankets), with threads of bright colors interwoven with geometric designs, by the warp and the weave of the low-heel looms.
One of the looms was given and can be visited at the Textile and Clothing Interpretation Center in the same municipality.
There are documentary videos on the looms rolled by Eugenio Monesma and also appears in the television series "A country in the backpack".
