The set of technical areas consists of the conservation and restoration department, the specialized library, the photographic studio and the documentation center. Photographic and cartographic files provide information to researchers and scholars, who also have work rooms to conduct their consultations.

As a separate activity, the museum develops programs of archeology, ethnography and contemporary art through its various departments, through research plans, archaeological excavations, exhibitions and specific publications.

In open collaboration the museum offers its facilities as a venue for congresses, conferences, concerts, exhibitions, and other cultural activities.

The Museum of Teruel depends on the Provincial Delegation of Teruel; Is integrated in the Spanish System of Museums of the Ministry of Culture, and in the System of Museums of Aragon.

In relation to the themes of this project stands out the basement plant where there are abundant samples of traditional trades as the work with the esparto, the carding of the wool and the harvesting of vineyard.

On the second floor there is a tour of the evolution of ceramic work in the province of Teruel, from prehistory, with very rudimentary works to the Roman stage with its innovations, the Arab period and finally the inclusion of the colors and techniques that came from China.
